SOMETHING IN THE AIR
July 15th – August 9th
The exhibition features a display of key anarchist newspapers and tabloids, images and artefacts from the time, working in collaboration with Swansea Museum. Artist and archivist Catrin Saran James and Swansea Museum are conducting archiving and interviews for the show.
Ian Bone, once dubbed “the world’s most dangerous man”, has been involved in social campaigns since the 1960s, and it was his constant investigation, shared through his anarchist publication Alarm, that led to the ‘reshuffle’ of Swansea City Council in the late 1970’s.
