GS Artists & the 9to90 Creative Community want to send a massive thank you to artists Jack Moyse & Menna Buss. 

Over the last few months, 9to90 have been very fortunate to be working with Jack Moyse and Menna Buss. Through a series of workshops, the artists have created space for participants to reflect on and share their experiences of the welfare system, encouraging creative expression of thought without fear of judgement. The results of these kind, calm interactions are textiles, co-created by Jack, Menna and the 9to90 Creative Community.

All their experiences were treated with respect & words used in the resulting textiles at their discretion. 

The exhibition was mounted after three months of workshops and sessions with the group, celebrated at a very inclusive daytime opening, complete with crafting activities, conversation, tea drinking and a real sense of celebration as demonstrated in the photographs below! During the exhibition all visitors were invited to be part of the exhibition by contributing via messages on labels or small pennants, with a craft table open, alongside the usual service from 9to90 of constant refreshments.
